RYP Young Parents Project
This is a new project set up in November 2007 support young parents up to the age of 25 years old in Richmond Borough.
Young Parents Project Workers Role Offers –
One to One non judgemental advice and support to young mums and young dads.
Practical and emotional support at any stage of pregnancy or parenthood – pregnancy, parenthood, adoption, termination
Information and help getting back into education, training, or employment, when you are ready.
Information and advice about benefits and grants and where to get further support.
Access to the weekly young parent groups.
Including –
Mondays - Hampton Young Parents Group at the White House Community Centre, The Avenue, Hampton. This group runs from 1 till 3pm and has a free crèche and Lunch.
Tuesday – Heart Group in Twickenham (please call Ali Bennett – 020 8831 6461)
Wednesday – Whitton Group, for mums and dads up to 25 years’ olds (please call Charlotte for more info)
Thursday – Ham young mums group, up to 25 years old (Please call Becky White on 078259 72485 / 020 8404 5142)
