Who Are We?

Richmond Youth Partnership is a third sector youth agency delivering professional, specialist and complementary youth services, and supporting other youth agencies within Richmond Borough

our ongoing projects include Detached Drugs Project, Off The Record, the Youth Café Bus Project, King’s Field Youth Café and the Young Parents Project.

Values and Principles

We believe that all young people should have access to information and services which support their well being and autonomy: and which are confidential, young people-friendly, accessible and of high quality. We strongly support the concept of youth empowerment through all our work.

We follow the original 5 principles of youth work, where the emphasis is on:

1 Being young people centred.
2 Voluntary participation with a strong focus on relationship building.
3 Working together, in partnership with young people.
4 A friendly and informal approach, which values honesty, flexibility, integrity, and values young people’s wellbeing over and above specific outcomes.
5 Welfare of young people with a non-judgemental and empathetic approach.
