Off the Record Counselling for Young People and Sexual Health Clinic
Off The Record aims to foster resourcefulness and independence among all young people (11–25) living, working or studying in the London Borough of Richmond, through providing accessible, young people-friendly services.
All our services are free and confidential. We have a confidentiality policy which states that we will pass on information in situations of great danger, but this is very rare and we would always aim to discuss it with our clients first.
Our Services
Counselling
We offer individual counselling at OTR for those with both short and longer term needs.
We also offer counselling in borough schools – Currently these are Grey Court, Hampton Community College, Shene, Christ’s and Clarenden.
Information and Drop-in
Our walk-in information service is open five days a week; we can provide condoms, pregnancy tests and Chlamydia testing, as well as crisis counselling. We can also give leaflets or talk about things like eating disorders, self-injury, drugs, bullying etc.
Sexual Health Clinic (KISS)
Our sexual health clinic, shared with the Richmond & Twickenham Primary Care Trust, is open on Monday afternoons, and run by 2 family planning nurses. Here, young people can get help, advice and support on any sexual health matter. Contraception, emergency contraception and Chlamydia testing are all available.
Parents We also offer a consultation service to parents and those working with young people, including referral where appropriate.
Life Skills Our life skills programme goes into schools and runs small groups, focusing on developing skills and confidence in dealing with sex and relationship issues.

Friday 2.30pm – 6.30pm
Saturday 10am – 2pm
