Youth Café Bus

The Youth Café Bus is a specialised mobile youth project for young people aged 11upwards and is designed to make youth work possible in areas where there is little or nothing in the way of provision for young people.
The project offers informal social and personal education for young people through safe social space, and activities, resources and activities designed to meet the specific needs of each group in each area, which currently including sexual health and relationships education, drug and alcohol awareness education, youth participation, careers work, group work, creative arts (including photography and digital imaging), and extreme space hopper racing among others.
The Youth Café Project has a team of trained (or training) youth workers. We also work in partnership with other agencies (such as CfBT Careers and LBRUT Parks Dept) We would be keen to meet up with other similar projects, both locally and nationally. It is supported by London United Buses who provide drivers and garaging for the bus.
