Over 100 young skater fans attended this years RYP skate jam. A genius bit of scheduling placed the event on more or less the only truly sunny day of the summer and drew the crowds and competitors.

A group of twelve skaters attended the second Youth Cafe Bus skate and surf residential trip to Newquay. Despite sightings of a great white shark off the beach everyone returned in one piece and had a great time. Once again the youth Cafe Bus is running competition events at King’s Field Sakte park this Summer. A BMX comp took place on the 2nd June, an inline skate jam will happen on the 30th June (see poster) and the skate jam will take place on Saturday 14th July.
