On September 11th Richmond Council agreed to proceed with plans that have been developed by RYP and LBRUT Parks to renovate the derelict pavilion building in King’s Field Skate Park (see article above.) The building will be open as a community café and will serve as a base for a range of services and activities for all those that use the King’s Field.

RYP is delighted at this development. We believe that the new café will be a fantastic resource for users of the site. We have been developing close links with the young people and local residents who use the King’s Field. We shall be convening regular meetings as the renovation is undertaken to ensure that the café building meets the needs of all those interested in the site.

See “images” for plans for the site……….

Please contact us for any further information on this exciting new development.

RYP Summer Scheme Success

RYP ran 4 weeks of summer activities in Ham this summer. Young people took part in a range of activities including off site visits and loads of sports, arts and IT activities on site. Young people from the scheme also contributed to the Change FM radio project that ran from Greycourt school.

All the young people had a great time and learned a lot through the programme.

RYP would like to thank all those that took part, the schools that contributed and especially the staff who made the whole scheme possible.

If you would like to know more about this or future holiday programmes please contact us via the email link on this site.
